I am a social scientist with 10 years of experience using advanced statistical/machine-learning and qualitative methods to analyze complex social and environmental issues. My research specializations include food & agriculture systems, risk perceptions and governance, and health and social inequality.
I have a PhD in Sociology, and I’m currently working as a postdoctoral researcher with Dr. Edward Spang in the Department of Food Science & Technology at UC Davis. I am also a Data Ambassador for DataKind, which provides pro bono data science consulting for mission-driven non-profits.
